Peru sees rises in metal mineral output and exports in first five months of 2017

According to statistics from ComexPeru, Peru saw export amount of metal minerals at USD9
. 71 billion in the first five months of 2017, up by 28% YOY with the export amount for copper, gold, zinc, iron and silver increasing by 46%, 6%, 82%, 69% and 37% respectively . China imported 37% of Peruvian metal mineral exports in the first five months of 2017, ranking the first; America, Switzerland, India and Japan imported of 9 . 6%, 9 . 6%, 7 . 2% and 7 . 1% of Peruvian metal mineral exports in the first five months of 2017 . Metal mineral output from Peru increased by 3% YOY in May with copper, zinc and iron output rising by 5%, 12% and 9% respectively.
